Online Application Platform
This project is unprecedentedly challenging. The design of UI and UX flow was completed within three days, which included the time needed to gain approval from various stakeholders, while the front-end development of platform took only about seven days. Every stage of it was urgent due to the pressing need to assist SMEs. Ultimately, the platform was successfully launched in two weeks.
The system integrated with the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology provided by Google Cloud’s Vision API. The machine learning product helped applicants auto-fill forms, making the process much simpler, more secure and faster for everyone, including those who are not tech-savvy. Maximizing approval efficiency and data accuracy presented another challenge, which our team overcame by utilizing government’s open API data and bank code list for verification.
After the success of this project, it gained opportunities to build governmental funding platforms during the challenging period of COVID.
