Souvenir Design & Production Management
In this project, I redesign the Google Calendar 2016 souvenir to align with Google brand guidelines and suit the cultural context of Hong Kong. The original version, developed in Taiwan, had some unsuitable key visuals for local business partners. To address this, I imitated the existing style to redraw those key visuals for calendar cards, ensuring they resonate with the cultural context of Hong Kong.
The souvenir includes four pieces of component cardboards of calendar stand case, a memo pad, 12-month calendar cards and a large packaging box. The complete redesign involved the adaptation of Android bot illustrations across all components of the souvenir. I also took charge of sourcing production vendor and monitoring the quality and production schedule of entire product.
