HKTDC is a statutory body which promotes and grows Hong Kong’s external trade. It provides business platform and creates opportunities for HK SMEs to do global trade in goods and services. To actively assist enterprises in breaking out and seizing business opportunities, HKTDC planned to revamp its digital platform and system.

Objectives

Provide a frontend and backend system which suits 36 themed exhibitions / fairs throughout years
Let users get wanted business information and do business contact on the platform conveniently
Let its members (exhibitors and buyers) register exhibition and events quickly and easily
Allow stalkholders to access and extract data from the system to do business analysis and report

Planning

Define the requirement of technological function basing on the scope of business requirement
Draw wireframes of platform and map out UX flow of each technological function
Organize and mark all data sources on plan and discuss with business analysts and backend developers
